Hi everyone!  Welcome to my new blog!  I decided to create this blog to keep everyone posted on my move, school, and just life in general since I won't get to see you as much!  This is my first post, you may not think a lot has happened since we last saw each other in May, but I've been a busy bee!

I started working at Best Buy again, I know, I know, I have a B.S. now and I could do a lot more, but I think Best Buy will be good for now: I'm still in school, I have to have a flexible schedule, and I can transfer out to Rochester with that job - hopefully.  In fact, I e-mailed my new store in Rochester last week and again today, hopefully I will be able to transfer out and everything will be smooth for me.

I will be loading up my car and driving to Rochester on August 16th.  I've already made an itinerary, complete with pit stops, gas stop, and lodging!  Last night I bought the plane tickets for my parents to fly back and booked the hotel for the night of the 16th.  We plan to drive two days, seems a bit ambitious but its only 15 hours one day and 12 the next - doable, yes?  I already shipped a few boxes of books to my uncle, who will hold them for me until I get there.  The apartment I'm moving into is furnished.  I decided selling most of my stuff (mainly dishes) and buying new stuff would probably be cheaper with U-Hauls and other options weighing in around $1000 at the low end and $3000 at the high end.  You can see the map of my planned drive below!

As far as school goes, I received an e-mail the other day from the department and they've already registered me for 3 classes.  They also have all my financial aid setup and ready to go.  Sadly, I'll be taking out several large loans.  Tuition is $10,000 a quarter.  I don't know how people do it without loans!  To all my friends at NMT - you're lucky it is practically free to attend NMT!  Orientation is September 1, and classes begin September 7!  It's just around the corner, folks!
